The Municipality of Port Hope is currently seeking expressions of interest for the following Boards and Committees requiring representation:

    * Accessibility Advisory Committee
    * Civic Awards Committee
    * Cemetery Board
    * Ganaraska River Committee
    * Port Hope Public Library Board
    
     Qualifications for appointment include the following:

  1. Must be a ratepayer or resident of the Municipality
  2. Minimum 18 years of age, unless specified as a youth member which is age 13 to 17.
  3. Not an employee of the Municipality
  4. Unless otherwise defined appointments will be for staggered terms.

Local Board / Committee Secretarial Support Position 

The Municipality of Port Hope is currently seeking applications from qualified individuals to provide administrative support to the following Committee of Council on a part-time basis (approx. 5 hours per month):

       * Tree Advisory Committee (held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 9:00 a.m.)

General administrative duties include, but are not limited to assisting in the creation of Committee agendas, recording the minutes, action item follow up, correspondence, file management and booking meeting rooms. 

Preference will be given to Individuals holding a secondary school diploma / post secondary training, typing skills, computer software application proficiencies in Microsoft Word / Excel / Access.
