Chair - Police & Fire Services

First elected to Port Hope Council in 2010, Greg previously served as Chair of the Parks, Recreation and Culture Committee. Greg was employed in the municipal parks and recreation field from 1971 - 1989, his last position being Director of Parks and Recreation in Cambridge, Ontario. From 1989 to 2009, he was a professor at Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario. 

He has founded several non-profit organizations, sat as a Board member of a community arts theatre; and served as Chair of North Carolina State University's professional development schools. 

Greg has served as the Chair of the Port Hope Public Library Board and New Hope United Church, and currently serves as a member of the Port Hope Police Services Board, the Centre of Excellence for Recycling Working Group, and the Advisory Group of the Canadian Fire Fighters Museum.
