The HBIA meet the first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m., Town Hall.
TERMS OF REFERENCE
Mandate:
To undertake projects and initiatives to promote the interests of the downtown businesses and Heritage Business Improvement Area and to develop a marketing plan/strategy to increase retail visibility.
Goals:
- To promote the Heritage Business Improvement Area as a business, shopping and entertainment area
- To promote the historic downtown business district
- In partnership with the Municipality of Port Hope jointly undertake projects to improve, beautify and maintain municipally owned lands, buildings and structures within the Heritage Business Improvement Area.
