Bob Fudge is the owner of the last working mill on the Ganaraska River, Fudge's Mill in Campbellcroft, which dates back to about 1865. Bob has owned the mill and the historic miller's house on the south side of the mill pond since 1990.
Before amalgamation in 2000, Bob sat as a member of the Council of the Township of Hope for six years, during which time he served on the Community Policing, Remembrance Day and Environmental Committees.
Elected to Council of the Municipality of Port Hope in 2006, Councillor Fudge is the chair of the Public Works Commitee andserves on the Northumberland Art Committee, Tree Committee, Accessibility Advisory Committee, Environmental Advisory Committee and Canton Cenotaph Committee.
After 35 years with the Construction Division in the Region of Durham, Bob retired in 2000 and is an active member of the Bewdley District Lions Club. He enjoys boating, model airplanes and being the father of four children and grandfather of one.
