Mayor Linda Thompson
Re-elected Mayor for a second term in 2010, Linda was first elected in 2000 as a Councillor and has since served as Deputy Mayor, Warden of Northumberland County and has 20 years of successful experience in industrial management.
Linda is committed to the community, living here since 1987 and actively involved as a member of, and volunteer for many local groups and events.
Linda and husband Barry have been married 25 years and are proud parents of Elizabeth, in her first year at university and William, a grade 10 student at Port Hope High School. Sister Lisa also shares their family home.
