Water Service

Residents must submit a Water Service Request to receive water service in Port Hope. Completed request forms can be dropped off, faxed or mailed to the Municipal Office. Please select the appropriate form based on whether you are a property owner or tenant.

Water Bill Payments

Municipal water billing notices are mailed four times each year and are due generally January, April, July and October. Water bills may be paid at the Town Hall Finance Department (56 Queen Street), on-line or in person at most banks or through a preauthorized payment plan. There is also a convenient drop box on the front door of the Municipal Office for after-hours payment. Interest is charged on outstanding balances at the rate of 1.25% per month.

All billing inquiries to be directed to the Finance Department by phone (905-885-4544) or in person. The Finance Department is located on the main floor of the Municipal Office at 56 Queen Street in Port Hope.
