Parks, Recreation and Culture
The mandate of the Department of Parks, Recreation Culture is to enhance the quality of life for Port Hope residents through a wide range of innovative, inclusive, accessible programming providing opportunities for physical activity, social interaction and community engagement.
Each year the department provides and supports recreation and leisure services for more than 300,000 participants with over 70 programs for all interests and age groups, from infants to older adults.
