TAKE NOTICE that the Municipality of Port Hope is seeking further applications for Appointments to Boards and Committees. 

Members of the general public are encouraged to consider becoming involved in local Boards and Committees. If you wish to have your name considered for appointment to any of the Boards and Committees outlined below, please submit the required application form.

Qualifications for the Appointment are:
a. Must be a ratepayer or resident of the Municipality
b. Minimum 18 years of age, unless specified as a youth member which is age 13 to 17.
c. Not an employee of the Municipality
d. Unless otherwise defined, appointments will be for staggered terms.

Boards and Committees requiring representatives:
• Accessibility Advisory Committee
• Cemetery Board
• Civic Awards Advisory Committee
• Economic Development Task Force
• Ganaraska River Committee
• Port Hope Public Library Board

Applications should state:
a. Office for which such application is made
b. The name, address and qualifications of the applicant
c. Any pertinent background information which may assist Council in its consideration.
