Water and Waste Water Service Line Protection ProgramResidents are advised that Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold warning in Northumberland County, which is expected to last throughout the weekend. The Municipality would like to remind the community of the hours of operations for public facilities, which can be accessed to keep warm during regular business hours:
Jack Burger Sports Complex – 60 Highland Drive: Monday to Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Town Park Recreation Centre – 62 McCaul Street: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Port Hope Public Library
Mary J. Benson Branch – 31 Queen Street: Monday to Thursday, 10: 00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday,
10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Garden Hill Branch - 3069 Ganaraska Road: Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Residents are asked to sign-in at the front desk upon arrival.
Inquiries for residents seeking shelter or homelessness services can be directed to Northumberland County.
