THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF PORT HOPE

DECLARATION OF MUNICIPAL LANDS AS SURPLUS
(Municipally known as 162 Yeovil Street
Lot 8, North Side of Yeovil Street, PL 1 Ridout)

TAKE note that on March 21, 2017 Council of the Municipality of Port Hope passed the following resolution:

WHEREAS By-law 2659-69 authorizes the registration of the land legally described as Lot 8, north side of Yeovil Street, PL 1 Ridout for municipal purposes;

AND WHEREAS Council at their In-camera meeting held on March 7, 2017 considered a staff report regarding the disposition of the unserviced, vacant, municipally-owned lot legally described as Lot 8, north side of Yeovil Street, PL 1 Ridout, known as 162 Yeovil Street;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council in accordance with the Sale of Surplus Lands By-law declare the subject land as surplus to the Municipality’s needs and authorize staff to proceed with the sale of the subject property.

Please take note that on July 4, 2017 Council will consider a proposal to sell the subject lands to the abutting property owner (R. Kloosterhof).
