2023 Municipal Holiday Hours

Administrative office holiday hours will take effect beginning on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at their regular office hours.
During this time, the following municipal administrative offices will remain closed and administrative staff services will not be available:
- Town Hall (56 Queen Street)
- Development Team Office (5 Mill Street South)
- Fire Administration Office (245 Ontario Street)

Fall Aquatics and Recreation Registration

Registration for our fall programs and aquatics opens next week. We have many classes and some new programs to choose from. Sessions run for 9 or 10 weeks (program dependent). Aquatics registration opens Monday, August 28, at 7:00 a.m. and program registration opens Tuesday, August 29, at 8:00 a.m.

Port Hope to Host Peterborough Petes Preseason Exhibition Game Against the Oshawa Generals

Port Hope’s Jack Burger Sports Complex (JBSC) will host an Ontario Hockey League (OHL) exhibition game on September 4, 2023. The Peterborough Petes will be taking on long-time rival the Oshawa Generals.
This game will be hosted in partnership with the Town Park Recreation Centre (TPRC) Expansion Fundraising Committee and the Port Hope Panthers. Attendees can expect a 50/50 draw, Peterborough Petes jersey raffle, silent auction table, and more.

Fundraiser aligns with Recreation and Parks Month and Seniors Month, celebrated annually in June
