Residents are advised that due to the ongoing weather conditions, the Town Park Recreation Centre and the Jack Burger Sports Complex will close this evening (January 25) at 7:00 p.m.

Registration for Winter 2 Aquatics opens on January 30 at 7:00 a.m. and registration for Recreation Programs opens on January 31 at 8:00 a.m. Connect, engage, and get active with swimming lessons, fitness classes, art and culture, children's programs and more. You can register:

Temporary Pool Closure

Update as of 6:00 p.m. - The pool is repaired and will be open as usual on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Residents are advised that due to a mechanical issue, the 25m pool will be closed for the remainder of the night (Wednesday, January 11). Repairs are currently underway.
Some swim lessons have been moved to the therapy pool. Those participants in registered programs that will not run tonight have been contacted by staff.

Residents are advised that due to the increasing weather conditions, the Town Park Recreation Centre and the Jack Burger Sports Complex will be closed for the remainder of the day. Staff are notifying registered program participants and user groups.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning in our region for this afternoon through tonight. Snowfall accumulations of 15 to 20 cm are predicted, which will cause reduced visibility and blowing snow.
