Spring Reminder: Call Before You Dig

If you are planning a home improvement project that requires digging such as planting a tree, building a deck, installing a pool or putting up a fence, don't forget to 'call before you dig.' Hitting wires, pipes, or cables can cause serious injuries and carry hefty financial consequences.
You are responsible for getting locates on all utilities and services before digging. These services include:
- Natural gas pipes
- Telephone lines
- Hydro
- Cable lines
- Water and sewer pipes
- Before you call
Young Street Park Closure

Young Street Park is currently closed for Port Hope Area Initiative (PHAI) remediation work. No road closures are expected. However, there may be temporary lane closures in the area. For more information read the PHAI notice.

Administrative building closuresMunicipal administrative buildings will be closed on Monday, May 20, 2024 for the Victoria Day holiday. Services will resume on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at their usual operating hours.
