Caroline Street Rink

The Caroline Street outdoor rink relies on mother nature to provide consistent cold weather in order to make ice. The rink does not have a refrigeration system. Our practice is to begin ice making when long range weather forecasts indicate daytime highs of minus eight degrees Celsius or colder for a period of five days or greater. Residents are advised that Christmas tree pickup will take place in the Municipality from Monday, January 11 to Friday, January 15, 2021. Instructions are provided below for residents who live in the urban area and the rural area.
Urban Residents- Please ensure that all nails, metal bases, ornaments, lights, and other decorations are removed from your tree

Committee Meeting Cancelled

Residents are advised that the Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 2021 is cancelled. The Council meeting will proceed as planned on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, beginning at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will be held via video conference. A link to the meeting and instructions about how to join and participate in the meeting are available on the meeting agenda.
The next Committee of the Whole meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, as scheduled.
