Recreation Facility Closure - January 25

Residents are advised that due to the ongoing weather conditions, the Town Park Recreation Centre and the Jack Burger Sports Complex will close this evening (January 25) at 7:00 p.m.

Winter 2 Recreation and Aquatics Registration

Registration for Winter 2 Aquatics opens on January 30 at 7:00 a.m. and registration for Recreation Programs opens on January 31 at 8:00 a.m. Connect, engage, and get active with swimming lessons, fitness classes, art and culture, children's programs and more. You can register:

Snowfall Warning - January 25-26

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for our region, expected Wednesday (January 25) afternoon into Thursday morning. It is likely that significant, rapidly accumulating snowfall and low visibility will occur, with possible power outages.

Special Finance Committee Meeting

A presentation of the proposed budget will take place at the upcoming Special Meeting of Finance Committee on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, and continue Thursday, February 2, 2023. Members of the public can attend this meeting and ask questions during the designated question period, which will take place at the end of the meeting on February 2. Meeting participation information will be posted on the meeting agenda, once it is ready and posted on our Agendas and Minutes page.
