Applications are now open for the Community Grant and Donations Program. These programs are designed to assist non-profit community organizations and registered charities in Port Hope.

Update on Bell Service Issues in the Downtown Core

The Municipality has been made aware that some residents and businesses in the downtown core experienced Bell service disruptions during July and early August. These interruptions were caused by heavy rainfall, which affected exposed Bell lines undergoing updates as part of the Walton Street Reconstruction Project. Town Hall also experienced a service outage during this period.

Mechanical Dredging in the Outer Harbour - August 19

In collaboration with Cameco, we will be conducting a small mechanical dredging operation in the outer harbour on Monday, August 19, 2024.
Purpose of the Dredging:The dredging operation aims to remove a freshwater intake that is no longer required by Cameco. This will help maintain the functionality and safety of the harbour.
