We are reviewing the parkland at Welcome Park (County Rd 10 and Dale Road) and Lions Park (Thomas Street). Public engagement is now underway for the upcoming Tourism Strategy.
In a meeting on June 6, 2023, Council instructed staff to oversee the evaluation, recommendation, and possible adoption of a suitable tourism delivery model in Port Hope.
The Municipality has engaged In Good Inc. to examine leading practices in similar municipalities and suggest a plan for the delivery and financing of tourism in Port Hope.
