These changes are only temporary to accommodate filming for the production “Greetings from Fairview” that will be taking place on Walton Street, Queen Street, and in some residential areas throughout May. Road Closure - Walton Street

Update - Wednesday, May 10, 2023

Work is progressing well on the final elements of Phase one of the Walton Street Reconstruction. Due to the recent inclement weather and other factors out of our control, the closure of Walton Street has been extended to May 19, 2023. We apologize for the delay and are working hard to complete this phase of the project. If work is completed in advance of the target date, the road will be opened accordingly.

Partial Parking Lot Closure - Jack Burger Sports Complex

Residents are advised that a portion of the parking lot at the Jack Burger Sports Complex will be closed on May 9, 2023 (weather permitting) to accommodate testing for the Port Hope Area Initiative on the property. This will include the Electric Vehicle charging station onsite. Fencing will be installed, and signs will be posted to indicate where access is restricted.
