At their meeting on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, Municipality of Port Hope Council announced that a settlement has been reached regarding Phase 2 of OLT File OLT-22-003126 (also referred to as Phase 5B Lands) of the Penryn Mason Homes subdivision development. As the fundraising campaign for the Town Park Recreation Centre (TPRC) continues this summer, the Municipality of Port Hope is pleased to announce a generous donation from the former Ruth Clarke Activity Centre (RCAC) for Seniors Board, who have worked closely with staff on the vision for this project. Water Service Shut off for Water Infrastructure upgrade

Residents are advised that the Water Division will be completing water infrastructure upgrades on Thursday, July 20. This work requires water shut-off to approximately 50 residential homes between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Affected area includes:

- Ridout Street
- Sullivan Street
- Julia Street

Today, Council for the Municipality of Port Hope announced that Brian Gilmer has been appointed interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
