Council meetings
Council has a combined meeting approach: Committee of the Whole and Regular Council meetings take place on the same evening, on the first and third Tuesdays of the month beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Statutory Public meetings, as required, take place on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
These meetings are open to the public. Previous Council and Committee of the Whole meetings beginning March 1, 2016, may be viewed at our Municipality of Port Hope YouTube channel.

The Municipal Act, 2001 allows the Municipality to hold a Closed Meeting when the subject matter relates to certain specific topics. For these meetings, the public are not allowed to attend and they are not broadcast.
