Throughout the month of February, Canadians honour Black History by celebrating and reflecting on the lived experiences, stories, and accomplishments of Black Canadians.

According to the recent census, our community has seen a small rise in residents who identify a member of a racialized group. Embracing diversity and making strides to foster inclusivity strengthens our community and supports a rich culture.

Snowfall Warning - January 25-26

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for our region, expected Wednesday (January 25) afternoon into Thursday morning. It is likely that significant, rapidly accumulating snowfall and low visibility will occur, with possible power outages.

Special Finance Committee Meeting

A presentation of the proposed budget will take place at the upcoming Special Meeting of Finance Committee on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, and continue Thursday, February 2, 2023.
