Returning to the Workplace

Please be advised that Municipal staff have begun to transition into phase two of the corporate Return to Work Plan, which includes a limited number of non-essential employees returning to work in each location/division. Community members may observe more cars in municipal parking lots or staff working in municipal buildings. Note that not all staff are returning to offices and many employees are still working remotely from home.

As part of the Municipality’s ongoing efforts to enhance communication with the community, we are pleased to provide notice of a Site Plan Application from Alban Merepeza c/o Port Hope Commercial Realty for the lands municipally known as 45 Henderson Street. A sign has also been posted within the lands subject to the proposed development.

Residents are advised that the West Beach, East Beach, and the Caldwell Street Beach access point will be temporarily closed, beginning on Friday, July 3 at 7 a.m. until Monday, July 6 at 10 a.m.

Parking Restriction Reminder - Marsh Street

A reminder to residents that parking on the road along Marsh Street (near the West Beach and the Water Plant) is not permitted. This includes the turn-around at the end of the street, as this area is designated as a fire route and is also used by our bulk water haulers to back up their large trucks. 'No Parking' signage is posted along the roadway and significant fines may be issued to those who do not comply.
Additionally, beach visitors are discouraged from parking on the grass. Please...
