Waterfront Master Plan
The Consolidated Waterfront Master Plan (CWMP) was developed in 2009 from a compilation of studies and reports translated into a listing of proposed projects to be undertaken to enhance and develop Port Hope’s waterfront. The Municipality of Port Hope, in consultation with the Waterfront and Riverwalk Working Group, have begun the process to develop a revised Waterfront Master Plan. Planning Solutions Inc. assisted in the creation of a Terms of Reference that will guide the development of a new Master Plan. WSP Canada Inc. has been retained to work with the Municipality of Port Hope and engage the community and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality, achievable Master Plan.
The Future of Port Hope's Waterfront
The Waterfront and Riverwalk Master Plan provides an indication of the planned future changes in the redesign of the waterfront area, including the centre pier. We are developing a comprehensive, innovative, and achievable Plan. You can help shape the future design of your waterfront. Visit My Port Hope, our community engagement platform, where you will find a wealth of information about the Plan development process.
