As construction steadily progresses westward along Walton Street, crews are encountering space limitations that are affecting the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment. To address these challenges and ensure public safety, the intersection of Walton and Pine Streets will be temporarily closed starting Monday, June 16.

Update: June 9 (3:30 p.m.) - Due to the rainy weather today, filming is extended until sundown. Intermittent traffic control will be taking place on Walton Street. Thank you for your patience.
KG MOVIE INC. will be in town next week filming scenes for their upcoming film Karate Ghost. Filming will take place downtown and around East Beach. No road closures are anticipated for this filming, intermittent traffic and pedestrian stops are expected to last one to three minutes.

Temporary Detour for Route A – Monday, June 2, 2025

To accommodate construction work and a minor road closure on Pine Street N (from South Street to Walton Street), a temporary detour will be in effect for Route A on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During this time, Route A will follow its regular path along South Street, then detour as follows:
- North on Pine Street N
- West on Bruton Street
- South on Julia Street
- Rejoining the regular route at Walton Street
Please note that Stops A3 and A4 will not be in service during the detour....
