For a detailed look, view our Special Event Re-Route map. Local transit is a great way to get Downtown on event day. There is also an event shuttle running from the Jack Burger Sports Complex out to the launch locations every 15 minutes from 8 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., as well as Fannyville (running a loop from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
Safety reminder
Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services is reminding participants and spectators to be safe and enjoy the festivities. Please be advised that Emergency Services staff may be in the area flying drones to monitor the river.
If you’re planning to join the festivities in Fannyville and cheer on participants, here are a few reminders to help ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone:
- While we know many visitors love to bring their dogs, we kindly encourage leaving four‑legged companions at home, as the event draws large crowds and can become quite congested.
- To keep things fun and family‑friendly, please note that water balloons are not permitted.
- Please remember that open alcohol is strictly prohibited outside of the licensed area.
Thank you for helping us keep the celebration enjoyable for all.

Please Note: River conditions will be closely monitored in the lead-up to the race. Participants will be informed if all race categories are approved to proceed. Once event setup begins, the Fannyville portion of the event will proceed, rain or shine. Final confirmation regarding the river race will be communicated to all participants by the Float Your Fanny team.
