Recreation Program Registration Postponed

Due to the significant winter storm impacting our area, all municipal public facilities will remain closed until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026. Weather conditions will be evaluated at that time. Further updates will be issued if the reopening schedule changes.
As a result, Recreation Program Registration will be postponed by one day:
- Resident Registration (online and in person): Now begins Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 7:30 a.m.

The Municipality of Port Hope has declared a Significant Weather Event due to heavy snowfall, as defined within the Minimum Maintenance Standards Regulation Ont 239/02. Conditions are expected to last into Monday with heavy snowfall making for dangerous conditions on roads and sidewalks.
