Transit Route A Re-route

Update 7/18/2023:

All affected stops are now open and Transit Route A is travelling the standard route. 

Residents are advised that Transit Route A will be re-routed due to a road closure on Highland Drive. Stops affected run along Cavan Street (A24, A25, and A26 will not be in service). This closure is anticipated to last until Friday, July 14.

Bus Service Disruption – June 21, 2023

Update - June 21 at 9:30 a.m. 

Please be advised that service has been restored to the Cobourg Transit Route (Route C – Cobourg Express Shuttle) and will now be operating as usual. Thank you for your patience. 

Residents are advised that the Port Hope – Cobourg Transit Route (Route C – Cobourg Express Shuttle) will be out of service on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, for unexpected bus maintenance. The route will reopen as soon as the bus is repaired and back in service and we will advise the community...

Upcoming Filming Activities May 29 and 30, 2023

Filming continues in Port Hope for the production “Greetings from Fairview” taking place on Walton Street, Queen Street, Mill Street South, Augusta Street and in some residential areas. Residents can continue to expect temporary parking impacts, road closures and intermittent traffic stops that may cause delays. Pedestrian traffic and storefront access will be maintained.
