Residents are advised that Christmas tree disposal will take place in the Municipality from January 5 to 9, 2026.
These trees don’t go to waste! We donate them to local farms and wildlife sanctuaries where they become tasty snacks for animals. To keep them safe, please make sure all nails, metal bases, ornaments, and lights are removed before tree disposal.
Urban Residents
- Place your bare Christmas tree at your curbside
- If you live within the Williamsport Condo Corp. (Fenton Lane, Shortreed Lane, Potts Lane) please bring your tree to Strachan Street for pickup
- Please note that unfavourable weather conditions may influence the pickup schedule.
Rural Residents
- Christmas trees may be taken to the Transfer Station located at 4775 5th Line, please note the holiday schedule
- Place your bare Christmas tree below the bins on the west side of the lot
