Final Decision for 3852 Ganaraska Road
The Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) has issued its Final Decision for the proposed residential subdivision at 3852 Ganaraska Road.
What has been approved
On September 3, 2025, the OLT issued an Interim Decision that:
- approved the Zoning By-law Amendment in part; and
- approved, in principle, a Draft Plan of Subdivision on an interim basis, withholding its Final Order until conditions of draft approval were finalized.
On November 18, 2025, the OLT issued its Final Decision approving the draft plan conditions submitted on consent by both parties. The approval is based on the plan prepared by Monument Geomatics dated February 16, 2023, subject to the conditions listed in Attachment “1” to the Order.
Planned housing mix on the site
- 31 single detached dwellings; and
- one block for a 10–21 unit apartment building on the subject property.
What this means
The proponent may now begin working to satisfy the conditions of draft approval. They have up to three years from the date of draft approval to meet all conditions and apply to the Municipality for final approval and registration of the plan. Construction can begin only after final approval.
