The Municipality of Port Hope’s Inaugural Meeting of Council will take place on November 17, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall (56 Queen Street).
During the meeting, the Mayor and Councillors will make their Declaration of Office, officially beginning the 2026 to 2030 Council Term. No Council business will be considered at the Inaugural Meeting.
Please note that seating in Council Chambers is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
Members of the media and the public are invited to attend in-person or watch the proceedings live on the Municipality’s YouTube channel.
A watch party will also be hosted at the Port Hope Community Hub (5325 County Road 10) to make attendance easier for Ward 2 residents. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
