Municipality of Port Hope Welcomes Adam Taggart as New Director of Environmental Services

The Municipality of Port Hope is pleased to share the appointment of Adam Taggart as the new Director of Environmental Services, which took effect on Monday, June 23. He will be at the helm of the Water and Wastewater Divisions, as well as leading the Environmental Remediation team.
Mr. Taggart brings a robust educational and professional background to this role. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education (Honours) from the University of New Brunswick. Additionally, he possesses critical certifications, including a Class 4 License in both Drinking Water Treatment Subsystem and Drinking Water Distribution and Supply Subsystem, alongside Class 3 Certificates for Wastewater Collection and Wastewater Treatment Subsystems.

With more than a decade of experience in Ontario’s water and wastewater facilities, Mr. Taggart brings extensive expertise in the municipal and public sectors. His leadership will play a key role in strengthening our community’s water and wastewater infrastructure, with a strong focus on sustainable practices.
