TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Municipality of Port Hope will consider, pursuant to Section 270(1), as applicable, of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, Chapter 25, as amended, declaring the following lands as surplus:
Property One:
- Part of PIN 51064-0883 (LT), being Part of Haskill Road from Lakeshore Road south to Lake Ontario, Port Hope; and
- PIN 51064-0867 (LT), being Part of Lot 15, Road Allowance Between Concession 1 and Broken Front, Port Hope, Ontario; and,
- PIN 51064-1993 (LT), being Part of Lot 15, Road Allowance Between Concession 1 and Broken Front, Port Hope, Ontario,
Property Two:
Part of PIN 51064-0846 (LT), being Part of Dickinson Road from Lakeshore Road south to Lake Ontario, Port Hope;
Property Three:
- Road Allowance in Concession 1 Part Lot 21 located on the North side of Lakeshore Road and which road allowance runs in a North Easterly direction from Lakeshore Road more particularly described as Part 1 Plan 39R-9305, Port Hope, Ontario; and
- Road Allowance in Concession 1 between Lots 20 & 21 more particularly described as Parts 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 on Plan 9R-2692.
- *Note that these lands under Property Three have previously been declared surplus under By-law 3600, and are now being proposed for sale
and is now proposing these lands for sale by way of direct sale to an abutting landowner. The proposed by-law will come before Council for consideration at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chambers at 56 Queen Street, Port Hope, Ontario, on the 11th day of August 2026, at 6:30 pm. Written comments may be provided to the Clerk of the Municipality at the address below.
