The achievements, generosity, and community spirit of Port Hope will take centre stage at the annual Civic Awards Ceremony, celebrating the people and organizations that make a lasting difference in our municipality.
The ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Hope. The evening will recognize exceptional contributions across a range of categories, honouring residents whose efforts enrich the cultural, social, and civic life of our community.
Admission is free, and residents of all ages are welcome to attend. The celebration will feature live award presentations on stage, including performances from local talent, followed by a reception with a cash bar and light refreshments supplied by a variety of local businesses.
For those who are unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be televised on Cogeco YourTV on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 7 p.m. airing on Channel 10, HD 700, or EPICO 100. Additional broadcast times can be found at yourtv.tv/cobourg-port-hope.
