A Special Council Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Committee Room at Town Hall, 56 Queen Street, Port Hope.
At this meeting, Council will move into a closed session in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, to address the following matter:
The continuation of the CAO’s Quarterly Confidential Update to Council, related to personal matters about identifiable individuals, including municipal or local board employees – Section 239(2)(b); labour relations or employee negotiations – Section 239(2)(d); a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board – Section 239(2)(c) and a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board – Section 239(2)(k).
