A Special Council Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 56 Queen Street, Port Hope.
At this meeting, Council Members will participate in a workshop with representatives from StrategyCorp to support the development of the 2025–2028 Strategic Plan for the Municipality of Port Hope. The session will focus on reviewing and validating the draft strategic plan framework, including strategic initiatives informed by contributions from the Senior Leadership Team.
This meeting will be held in a Council Workshop format as outlined in Section 22 of the Procedural By-law. Workshops are intended to provide Council with information, training, and an opportunity for discussion. No formal decisions will be made during this workshop.
This session is open to the public and they may attend in person. However, public participation will not be permitted. Due to the informal and interactive nature of the session, including limited microphone use and movement throughout the room, the meeting will not be livestreamed.
The draft Strategic Plan and accompanying report will be presented at a future Committee of the Whole meeting for formal consideration through the regular approval process.
