We are pleased to announce that the 25m pool is reopening at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, for lane, adult, public and family swims. The temperature will be slightly lower than normal and will continue to rise over the next several days.
Swim lessons and aquafit programs scheduled in the 25m pool will recommence on Thursday, October 27. Those registered in the current session will be contacted. (Note: if any of your contact information has changed since your registration, please contact us to ensure we can connect with you.)
To celebrate reopening, please join us for a free public swim on Sunday, October 30 from 2:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back!

Update: Tuesday, October 25, 2022
Due to supply chain delays, we are still awaiting the arrival of the pump and motor needed to repair the 25m pool. As soon as the equipment is received, anticipated this week, it will be installed immediately. Following the installation, our team will work to adjust the chemical balance and temperature in preparation for the necessary pool inspection. Upon successful completion of this inspection, the pool will be reopened.
As information is received, we will communicate regarding anticipated reopening date.
Those currently enrolled in programs impacted by closure of the 25 m pool will be contacted and provided the opportunity for priority registration in the same lesson day and time for the Winter Session.
We recognize the impact this closure has on participants and user groups and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as possible.

The 25m pool at the Jack Burger Sports Complex remains closed due to a mechanical issue. Our team continues to work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
All registered activities that take place in the 25m pool (swim lessons level Swimmer 2-9, synchronized swimming and AquaFit) will be cancelled temporarily. Programs will resume as soon as the 25m pool is available for use.
Those programs that take place in the therapy pool (Parent and Tot, Preschool, Swimmer 1 lessons and Aqua Easy) remain unaffected and classes will continue as regularly scheduled.
Public swims and adult swims will continue as scheduled using the therapy pool until the 25m pool is available for use. The hot tub remains open for use.
