A reminder to all residents that winter parking restrictions take effect on December 1 and continue through the winter until March 15. This means there is no on-street parking permitted on snow routes from 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. This is in effect so that our snowplows can clear the streets safely, when required.
When the snow falls, snow clearing of the sidewalk outside your home is your responsibility. Please don't shovel the snow onto the street as that can create a hazard. For more details, visit our Snow Removal webpage.
With winter snowfall comes icy, slippery, and dangerous roads. Please take caution this winter to help keep our community safe. Be sure to take a moment to watch our local OPP officers provide some helpful tips for winter driving.
