2022 Municipal Holiday Hours

Administrative office holiday hours will take effect beginning on Friday, December 24, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at their regular office hours.

During this time, municipal administrative offices remain closed and administrative staff services will not be available.

For urgent services related to water or roads, call 905-885-2431 and press * to reach our after hours emergency line. The after hours line can also be reached by dialing 1-855-961-7019.

Temporary Closure of Intersection at Walton and Pine Streets

This closure is now complete and the Pine and Walton intersection is open to vehicles. Please remember, Walton Street (from Julia Street to Pine Street) remains closed for the duration of the project.

The closure of this intersection has been extended to the evening of Wednesday, June 29. If the current issues are resolved faster than anticipated, the intersection will be opened upon completion. We appreciate your patience with this delay.

Transit Updates Beginning May 16

Residents are advised of the following updates to Municipal Transit Services beginning Monday, May 16. 

1. If you need a ride to/from East Beach this summer, we have you covered. We are reinstating the temporary stop at East Beach. This stop runs on Bus Route B and will stop approximately 55 minutes past every hour until Labour Day.
2. In preparation for Phase 1 of the Walton Street construction project, Bus Route A will be redirected one block north for the duration of the project. The bus will now run...
