Road closuresResidents are advised of the following road closures on Saturday, April 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to accommodate the annual race.

Residents are advised of the following impacts to services due to the upcoming Easter Holiday.
Administrative building closures:Municipal administrative buildings are closed on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6, 2026.
For urgent services related to water or roads, call 905-885-2431 and press * to reach our after-hours emergency line.
Transit service impacts:Municipal Transit service will run on a modified schedule for the holiday weekend.

Transit Update – New Bus Arrival

We are excited to announce that our new buses have arrived. With all required paperwork and safety checks now complete, routes A, B and C are all operating with the new buses.
Please note that the new buses are not yet equipped with grab bars. As a result, these buses remain limited to seven seated passengers (no standing) until the equipment arrives and installation is complete. We are currently working on alternatives to accommodate more passengers during our busiest transportation times.

We are very pleased to share that our new transit buses have officially arrived! With all required paperwork and safety checks now complete for one of the vehicles, all services (Routes A, B, and C) have returned to their regular schedules.

Family Day Closures

A reminder to residents that municipal administrative buildings, the Port Hope Public Library and the Hope Transfer Station will be closed and transit service unavailable on Monday, February 16, 2026, for the Family Day holiday.
The Town Park Recreation Centre is open for the Family Fun Day Event from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the Jack Burger Sports Complex is open with modified hours and public swimming from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
