Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services is calling on all residents to test their smoke alarms on September 28 as part of Test Your Smoke Alarm Day. Be prepared to be Saved by the Beep with a working smoke alarm – it is your best chance to keep you and your family safe in the event of a fire.

Please be advised that Transit Routes A, B, and C are currently out of service until 5:30 p.m. today due to a mechanical failure of another transit vehicle.
- Routes A and B will resume service temporarily from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. After 7:00 p.m., these routes will be back out of service for the remainder of the evening.
