A reminder that the Port Hope Arts Festival is this Saturday, August 12, throughout Downtown. Residents are advised of the following impacts to accommodate this year’s festival.Road Closures
- Augusta Street (from Queen Street to Elias Street) will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to accommodate the outdoor vendor market.
- Reminder: The parking lot at Town Hall will also be closed to accommodate the Port Hope Farmers Market.

A reminder to residents that municipal buildings will be closed and transit service will operate on a reduced schedule (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) on Monday, August 7, 2023 for the Civic Holiday. Transit and municipal staff services will resume at their usual business hours on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
Municipal recreation facilities will be open at regular hours on the holiday.
The Hope Transfer Station and Port Hope Public Library branches will also be closed on Monday, August 7 for the holiday.
