East Beach Transit Stop

If you need a ride to/from East Beach this summer, we have you covered. Beginning Friday, May 15, we will again be offering a temporary stop at East Beach for the summer. This additional stop runs on Bus Route B and will stop approximately 55 minutes past every hour until Labour Day. Enjoy the beach!

Victoria Day Closures

Residents are advised of the following impacts to service due to the upcoming Victoria Day Holiday.

Administrative building closures

Municipal administrative buildings will be closed on Monday, May 18, 2026 for the Victoria Day holiday. Services will resume on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at their usual operating hours.

Transit Service Disruption - Route A

Due to work happening in the area, transit stop A32 will not be in service tomorrow (Thursday, May 7, 2026) from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please use an alternate stop to access the A Route during this time. Thank you for your understanding.

Temporary Transit Service Delay - Cobourg Shuttle

Update: Highway 2 is now open and the regular route has resumed. 

 Residents are advised that the Express Cobourg Shuttle is currently delayed due to a road closure on Highway 2. Service is continuing via a detour, which may result in longer travel times. We appreciate your patience and will provide an update when regular service resumes.

Ganny Weekend Road Closures and Parking Restrictions

Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny returns this weekend to the mighty Ganaraska River on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Please take note of the following impacts:

Road closures

Residents are advised of the following road closures on Saturday, April 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to accommodate the annual race.

• Barrett Street Bridge (closure begins Friday, April 10 at 8:00 a.m. until Saturday, April 11, at 6:00 p.m.)
• Barrett Street (from Cavan Street to Ontario Street)
• Maitland Street (from Ontario Street to...
