Waterfront and Riverwalk Master Plan Design Workshop

Join us at the Town Park Recreation Centre on Thursday, April 21 for a Design Workshop where we will unveil the initial concepts for the new Waterfront and Riverwalk Master Plan.
Drop in anytime between 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. or 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and chat with staff and our consultants from WSP to learn more about the initial design concepts and recommendations. These concepts were guided by the feedback collected during our community engagement process to date.

Road Closure due to Watermain Break on Cavan Street

Residents are advised of an emergency temporary road closure due to a watermain break on Cavan Street between Highland Drive and Bedford Street. Please avoid the area while staff work to repair the main.
While repairs are taking place, water may be at lower pressure than normal and rust may occur. The water remains safe for use.

The Municipality received notification from Ontario Power Generation (OPG) that the province has stopped the sale of the Wesleyville lands in the Municipality of Port Hope from proceeding.
This notification is a last-minute change and was unexpected for Council and staff, who have been preparing for the closing of the sale, which was scheduled for Thursday, March 31, 2022.
