Public safety officials in the Municipality of Port Hope announce that Rave Mobile Emergency Alert is now available to all residents, replacing the previous Rapid Notify system.
Rave Mobile is a free service that allows individuals to receive notifications sent from municipal authorities to stay informed of potentially hazardous situations involving weather, traffic, and other emergencies.

The Caroline Street outdoor rink relies on mother nature to provide consistent cold weather in order to make ice. The rink does not have a refrigeration system. Residents are advised that the Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 2021 is cancelled. The Council meeting will proceed as planned on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, beginning at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will be held via video conference.
