Development Team Office Closure – November 7

Residents are advised that the Development Team Office (5 Mill Street, South) will be closed to the public on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, to accommodate the replacement of the rooftop HVAC unit. A large crane will be on site and, for the safety of the public and staff, the parking lot and building will be inaccessible. This project was included in the 2023 Budget to improve aging building components.
Transit busses will not be affected by this closure.

Fire Department Receives Superior Water Tanker Shuttle Accreditation

The Municipality of Port Hope is pleased to announce that the Fire and Emergency Services Division has once again received Superior Tanker Shuttle Accreditation for both residential and industrial level service. The accreditation program, under the Fire Protection Survey Services, recognizes a fire department's ability to shuttle water with tanker trucks to fight fires in areas far away from municipal fire hydrants.
