2022 Budget Consultation

Residents are advised that the 2022 proposed budget documents have been posted for public review and open to receive comments from residents.

A presentation of the proposed budget will take place at the upcoming Special Meeting of Finance Committee on Monday, December 13 and continue on Thursday, December 16, 2021. New Dual Stream System at the Hope Transfer Station

Rural residents are advised of the new recycling changes taking place on Monday, December 6, 2021 at the Hope Transfer Station. The facility is switching to a new dual stream system. This means, residents will need to sort their recycling loose into two categories: Papers and Containers.

New Plaques on Athletic Wall of Honour Unveiled

In a small ceremony on November 18, 2021, the Municipality of Port Hope, in partnership with the PRC Advisory Committee unveiled the new honourees to the Athletic Wall of Honour. The Athletic Wall of Honour, located at the Jack Burger Sports Complex, is a community-driven initiative that celebrates the achievements of local athletes by preserving the stories and histories of sport in Port Hope.
