As the Municipality has been placed into the Orange Zone of the Provincial COVID-19 Response Framework, and to accommodate changes in municipal operational and staffing needs for recreation facilities, effective Thursday, February 18, reservations are no longer required to skate at the Caroline Street Rink.
Those who have already booked a reservation at the Caroline Street Rink from Thursday, February 18 to Saturday, February 20 have been contacted and advised of this change.

Modified Recreation Programs Resume at Select Facilities
The Ontario Government advised that the Stay-at-Home Order will cease on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 and that the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit, which includes Northumberland County, will be placed in the Orange- Restrict zone of the Province’s COVID-19 Response Framework. Residents are advised that municipal transit will be closed, and staff services will be unavailable on Family Day, Monday, February 15, 2021. Services will resume at their usual business hours on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

Interim tax bills have been mailed and the bill due dates are February 24, 2021 and April 28, 2021.
Payments can be made at your bank, by telephone or online banking through your bank, or by mailing a cheque to Town Hall at 56 Queen Street, Port Hope, Ontario L1A 3Z9. You can also drop off a cheque in the drop-box mail slot on the front door of the Town Hall.
